Curiosity Is Our Captain Over two days and one night, we’ll journey up Lake Powell roughly 50 miles, covering 130 miles as we explore canyons along the way. During the day, fish along rocky outcroppings, troll in narrow canyons and relax in the shade of large rock overhangs called, Glens. Taking in the beauty of Lake Powell is a key part of this adventure. Evenings are just as spectacular too. You’ll see the stars exactly like the first explorers of this great region did. Every day is an adventure where you will look forward to cruising back to camp for a delicious meal under the stars. Travel Details From Vegas airport: about 4 hours drive to boat dock From Phoenix airport: about 4 hours drive to boat dock From Salt Lake City airport: about 6 hours drive to boat dock This is an overnight trip, departing at 7:00 am and returning by approximately 6:00 pm the following day(s). We recommend arriving the night before, staying in Page, Arizona so your travel time is reduced the day of your adventure. If your adventure is from April 1st through November 30th, you will meet your guide at the State Line boat dock. If your adventure is from December 1st through March 31st, you will meet your guide at the Wahweap boat dock. Please arrive on time as we will be waiting for you at the dock that is located at the bottom of the boat ramp. You can park In the parking lot and walk down the ramp. We will have a brief safety orientation and then be on our way. Note: This Is A Guided Tour Not A Rental. Guide Is Mandatory. Bob is an experienced outdoorsman. His credentials include: United States Coast Guard License (OUPV), Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) Through Glen Canyon National Recreation Area NPS, insured, experienced and a Licensed Fishing Guide.
