Safety Considerations - Life Jackets: Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times while on the boat. - Safety Briefing: All renters are required to attend a safety briefing before departing. This will cover boat operation, emergency procedures, and local navigation rules. - Alcohol and Drug Policy: Operating the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the rental without a refund. 4. Boat Rules - Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum capacity of the boat as specified in your rental agreement. - Operating Hours: Boats must be returned by the agreed-upon time. Late returns will incur additional charges. - Cleanliness: Please keep the boat clean and free of trash. A cleaning fee will be charged for boats returned in poor condition. 5. Damage and Liability - Responsibility: The renter is responsible for any damage to the boat or equipment during the rental period. A damage deposit is required and will be refunded upon return of the undamaged boat. - Insurance: It is recommended that renters have their own insurance coverage for personal liability and injury. 6. Fuel Policy - Fuel Charges: The renter is responsible for the cost of fuel used during the trip. A refueling charge of $5 per gallon will be applied for any gas used.
