Terms - Cancellation Policy - Rules and Expectations Reservations: To secure a reservation full payment is required, the date and time is not confirmed until payment has been received. We will hold your reservation until the payment due date on the invoice as a courtesy. If not paid by the due date, we will open that time and date back up for other bookings. Please contact us if you need longer to pay the invoice so we can ensure the continued hold of your date and time. Cancellations:  If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact our office immediately. If your cruise is 30+ days in advance a refund of payment will be allowed, less a 6% processing fee. If the reservation is within 30 days, no refund of any advance payment will be given. We do however realize that plans change and a cancellation is sometimes unavoidable. We do offer that if we are able to rebook the time you have requested, we will refund you either the amount of your deposit or the amount we are able to rebook if it is not the full amount. This refund is at our sole discretion and is subject to a 15% administrative fee that will be deducted from any balance returned. Inclement Weather Policy: Our trips operate rain or shine. We do not cancel for bad weather unless it has been deemed unsafe by either the United States Coast Guard, or the Captain of the Vessel. If we do need to cancel due to unsafe conditions, you will be given the option to either rebook your trip or receive a refund of the full amount paid. Our vessels are all covered and enclosed, you can be assured a comfortable charter regardless of the weather. Charter Time Policy: The time you reserve for your charter is the window you have available to you. If your departure is delayed your charter will still return to the dock at the initially agreed upon time. (This only applies if the delay is caused by the chartering guest, if we need to delay the departure for any reason we will ensure you have the contracted amount of time out on the water.) Should you choose to extend your time, and we have the ability to so, you may add extra time at a rate agreed upon with the Captain. This amount to be paid by credit card only. We do not accept cash for Charter Fees. Outside Food/Beverage Policy: Food can be consumed on board the vessels during your trip. This can either be items we have provided for you, or items you have brought yourself. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed on board by those of age, but common sense must be observed. ID’s will be checked at boarding for any guests appearing underage on a charter where alcohol is available. If any member of your party is deemed by the Captain or the Crew to be in a state that jeopardizes their safety or that of others, the Captain will return to port and the charter will be over. Trash cans are provided on board for your garbage, please be mindful that items move/blow around out on the water. We respect the Harbor and ask that you help us keep it trash free. A cleaning fee will be assessed if the boat requires additional cleaning (above our standard after charter cleaning) from any food or drink items brought on board. Our vessels all now offer Liquor, Beer and Wine for purchase aboard. Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the vessel. If you have a specific drink you would like us to serve aboard, please contact us at least 1 week prior to your charter so we can coordinate with our suppliers to have it available if possible If anyone in your party is found to have brought alcohol on board, it will be cause for immediate termination of the charter and return to the dock. No refunds will be given, and you may be unable to charter our vessels for future events. Smoking and Illegal Drugs: Smoking is not allowed on board, nor is it allowed on Boston Harbor Hotel (Rowes Wharf Property). Illegal Drugs are never allowed on board. The Captain will immediately notify the United States Coast Guard if they become aware of any illegal substances. The Charter will be over and those in possession will be arrested. As the Vessel and the Captain are governed by Maritime (Federal) Law, Marijuana falls into the category of illegal drugs.  Expectations: We know that being out on a boat is a fun and exciting experience. Our goal is to help you enjoy your charter to the fullest and safest extent possible. We expect all members of the group to act in a way that is respectful to the safety of all aboard. The Captain will begin your charter with a safety briefing for your group. This will include information on lifejackets, movement aboard, etc.  When you book your charter, we ask for a head count for the total number of guests coming aboard. Any addition to this number needs to be discussed and cleared with us prior to the Charter. Any guests above the agreed upon total will be denied boarding. Before and after your charter, please be mindful of the noise level of your group. Our Vessels typically depart from behind the Boston Harbor Hotel. There are guests for multiple other charter boats and the Hotel in the immediate vicinity. We ask that you act in a manner than respects their enjoyment of the day as well. Acceptance and Agreement: By paying this invoice for this charter you acknowledge that you have read and agree with these terms and conditions, and agree to be bound by them.
