We hired this boat for a private sunset pleasure cruise. During the bidding process they gave a bid for our job immediately and gave us a good price. However they did not answer any of our questions we had posted to them asking them about what time we could have the boat until AFTER we had paid them. This was uncomfortable for me as I just had to HOPE they could take us out at our preferred time. Bettter communication up front would have been better. The day of our tour, We had to wait a bit beyond the time we were told to meet to be picked up. We would have liked starting on time so we didn’t have to wait on the pier in the sun, but they did give us our full three hours stating from the delayed pick up arrival. The boat is clean and very basic. We were happy we brought a towel because they didn’t;t have any for our use to sit on if you wanted to sit on the front of the boat. They provided soft drinks, water and beer which was nice, but we had brought a bottle of wine for sunset and they didn’t have any glasses either plastic or otherwise. The sea was a bit choppy and my daughter didn’t feel well so I asked if we could head back to the calm bay. They headed back and started to park the boat, but we still had time left on our boat rental so I asked if we could go across the bay to watch the sunset until our time was up. They seemed displeased with my request, but they accommodated it. I felt like they should have asked us what we wanted to do when we turned the boat around instead of choosing for us then acting annoyed when we conveyed our wants to them. I think this boat is typically booked for fishing but with better attention to communication both on the app and during the tour and some attention to providing some basics, like towels and glasses, this could be a fun tour for visitors who want to get on the water for a private pleasure cruise.
