Booking and Cancellation: A full refund will be provided for cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled rental date. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled rental date are subject to forfeiture of the rental fee, unless due to extenuating circumstances, in which case a rescheduling option may be considered. Boarding and Departure: The rental period begins at the agreed-upon time of booking. Please ensure your entire group is present and ready for boarding at the designated location. All passengers must board the boat simultaneously. We are unable to wait at the dock for late arrivals. Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to reschedule the rental for the next available date at no additional charge. Adjustments to the booking time may be necessary to accommodate other reservations and prevailing weather conditions. Safety Regulations: All passengers are required to adhere to safety guidelines provided by the captain or rental staff. Life jackets must be worn by all passengers while onboard, as per safety regulations. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors on the boat. Designated smoking areas may be available on deck. Responsibility for Damages: The renter is responsible for any damages to the boat or its equipment caused by negligence or misuse during the rental period. Capacity and Age Restrictions: The maximum capacity of the boat must not be exceeded at any time during the rental period. Children under the age of 6 must always be accompanied by an adult. Alcohol and Substance Use: The consumption of alcohol is permitted onboard within legal limits and in accordance with local laws. The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement. Pets Policy: Pets may be allowed onboard with prior approval from the rental company. Additional cleaning fees may apply. Emergencies and Assistance: In case of emergencies or technical issues during the rental period, please contact our staff or let the captain know immediately for assistance. Compliance with Regulations: Renters must comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and navigational rules during the rental period. Indemnity Clause: Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless the renting company from any liabilities, damages, or expenses incurred as a result of their use of the rented boat, NOT as a result of the captain. Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
