A typical tour follows a route of diverse terrain with jungles, mountains and the coast often visited in one day. Unexpected photo opportunities are numerous- we may chance upon a family of buffalo crossing the road, an impromptu hill tribe celebration or a rainbow cutting across the mountain peaks. And while our journeys are incredible, the destinations are equally exciting. From tea plantations to former battle grounds to ethnic villages, Central Vietnam has it all. Many of our overnight journeys include a stop at Bho Hoong, home to the Co Tu people, where we have established a bungalow stay with the locals. Active Adventures Vietnam trips originate in Hoi An, Danang or Hue, so there is no wasted time in getting to a start point just wake up at your hotel and be whisked away into the hills. Our Jeep tours are the perfect addition to any holiday, giving a touch of adventure and loads of local culture to your Central Vietnam stay. Travel by our original restored US Jeeps, trek to hot springs, stay overnight in traditional stilt houses with a modern twist, swim in mountain streams and waterfalls, abseil into Marble Mountain. Every tour is fully escorted by an experienced English speaking guide with great passion for Vietnamese history, lifestyle and culture. We take bookings for a minimum of 2 people, up to small groups and also cater for travel agents.
