**CANCELLATION POLICY** The yacht is considered booked once funds have been received and a confirmation has been sent to the client. If the client has an issue with the booked time, we offer a one time change of date/time based on availability. If the client is unable to reschedule and must cancel the booking, we offer a 50% refund until 30 days prior to the booking start time. Cancellation within 30 days of the booking date and time will only receive the refund IF the booking date and time is rebooked by another client. Cancellations within 7 days of the booking start time are non-refundable. In the event a Charter is cancelled by the Captain for weather conditions or safety concerns, the client will be allowed to reschedule to an available date/time. In the unfortunate event the Captain must cancel the Charter due to the boat having mechanical issues and/or is not in condition to Charter, the client can either reschedule to an available date/time or receive a full refund. Compliance with the Law: The boat is a federally regulated vessel. Charterer agrees not to violate any law, statute, regulation, or code provision of the United States, state of California, or any government within whose jurisdiction of the Vessel may be at any time during the Charter Event. Charterer agrees to prohibit the use and/or possession of any illegal substances aboard the Vessel and further agrees to be fully responsible and liable for any loss, forfeiture, or damage to the Vessel due to any violation of applicable Customs or other drug laws by Charterer or Charterer's guests. Discovery of illegal drugs, including marijuana, controlled substances, or other contraband in the possession of Charterer, Charterer's guests, employees, or agents shall result in immediate termination of the Charter Event, without refund in any amounts paid. We, Yacht Charters, Inc. and/or their charter agents and/or suppliers of the services in connection with the charter, shall act only as charter agents for the client in making arrangements for the yacht, catering, beverages, or any other service, and do not assume liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident, or delay to person or property, due to an act of negligence or by default of the catering company or any other third party rendering any services included in the charter, or by act of God. Policy on Alcohol Beverages Onboard: Before boarding, any guests appearing to be under the influence, impaired, or hostile, at the discretion of the crew, shall not be permitted to board the vessel. The boat has a full bar and carries a liquor license. Therefore, passengers may not bring any alcoholic beverages onboard. The only exception to this is in the event the host requires a particular brand of wine or champagne. In this case, prior arrangements must be made, the bottles are surrendered to the bar and there is a $30 corkage fee assessed for every bottle that is opened. The host may take any unopened bottles with them at the end of the Charter. If the host must bring any liquor or spirits, prior arrangements must be made, and any spirits onboarded are given to the bar to be sold as premium drinks when served to the passengers. Host may not take unopened spirits with them at the end of the charter. Please note, any opened containers found to have been brought onboard will result in a fee assessed to the host equal to $35 per passenger, per open container. For example, if the host has 50 guests and the crew finds 5 alcoholic beverages that have been smuggled onto the vessel and opened, the fee would be 5 x 50 x $35… $8,750.00. As you can see, it is not worth the risk to smuggle booze onboard the boat.
