63' Catamaran - Newport, RI - Luxury sailing for large groups!

The Catamaran: Heron is a 65’ Catamaran in Palm Beach, FLA (winter season) and Newport, RI (summer season). Heron is a USCG-inspected vessel for up to 42 guests. Heron is perfect for hosting large parties and never-ending fun on its spacious topside, a centralized cockpit, two large trampolines, and multiple bean bags for lounging and sunning. We are happy to put the anchor down for swimming, paddle boarding, and lounging on the Lilypad. Heron is the perfect mix of luxury, sailing, and relaxation. Heron was originally built for a family to sail around the world. Her interior is comfortable, safe, cool, and shaded, with room to sit on the couch. The beauty of sailing on a catamaran is it’s completely stable. The captain can easily put Heron in irons (keep her at a standstill) to allow for more comfortable maneuverability when needed for all guests. What we have aboard: The Captain and crew provide all the necessary accommodations for a comfortable cruise: Signature Heron Rum Punch, ice, water, serving ware, drinkware, and blankets for chilly sunset sails. We also have plenty of cooler space and can keep food warm. If guests bring provisions and libations, the captain and crew will plate and serve them throughout the charter. There is a bathroom (Head), and private areas are available for changing. We have music and the ability to connect devices to our system. What guests should bring: Guests should bring provisions (food), additional drinks (no red wine), towels, (non-spray) sunscreen, and other personal items needed throughout the charter. We will offer recommendations for local caterers and stores to pick up provisions. Gratuity: 20% gratuity is paid in cash to the captain on board. Refunds/Cancelations: Guests can only cancel charters for a full refund if they inform us in writing 72 hours/ three days before the charter. Captain McLellan constantly watches the weather and will determine if a charter shall be canceled due to unpleasant weather. We will try to reschedule, but the deposit will be refunded if time does not allow.  Reviews: As a small business, our success often comes from word of mouth and reviews. Please encourage guests to tag us on social media or leave a review on Yelp or TripAdvisor.  Charter Guidelines 1. The charter operates under the authority of the captain. The captain has the authority to terminate the charter in the event of unacceptable conduct by the charter party. 2. No illegal substances or firearms are permitted onboard. Discovery of the presence and use of illicit substances and firearms will terminate the charter without refund, and the yacht will return to its homeport. 3. When you reserve a charter date, it is your charter date if the captain determines it is sailable. All charters are private. Your group will be the only party on the yacht. 4. A cancellation called by the captain due to weather or mechanical problems will create either a deposit credited toward another charter date, or you may request a refund. 5. The charter includes properly using our adequately outfitted yacht and the captain. 6. The captain and crew shall not be held liable for any injury or fatality caused by either direct or indirect action of any member of the charter party. 6. The balance of your charter price over and above your deposit is due and payable, at the latest, on the dock before leaving on your trip. 7. No trash, garbage, or other materials are thrown overboard into the water. 8. The captain and Crew are not babysitters. 9. The captain may call you before your trip to discuss the weather, sea conditions, etc. 10. Smoking is NOT permitted on the yacht. 11. Cancellations must be made in writing before 72 hours for a full refund. If you cancel within 72 hours from sail time, you lose the deposit, and for cancelations on the day of the charter, you are responsible for paying in full. 13. The charterer agrees to be fully responsible for all furnished equipment aboard the yacht. The Charterer agrees to pay Heron Luxury Charters the amount necessary to replace damaged or lost equipment. 14. Please plan to be at Heron 10 minutes before the agreed start time. 15. Charterers and guests agree to conduct themselves appropriately on marina property by respecting the privacy of other boats at the dock and maintaining safe and appropriate behavior on the dock and the yacht.
