My name is Pedro, I am managing partner of Nature Trails company. I am unconditional admirer of the nature of the island of São Miguel and the Azores in general. Fond of these islands, enjoy all kinds of activities, whether committed on land or at sea. This company, founded in 1999, came after realizing various terrain riding, exploring many hidden places, and you have verified that our island of São Miguel has a backdrop of unique and beautiful natural beauty, with many of them completely unknown to most people living on the island. Thus was born the idea, innovative, to acquire a terrain vehicles to make known to all who visit us these places, some considered more tourism, some less tourist as dirt roads, but they are still very interesting to visit and admire its natural beauty. When I started this activity, there was this kind of service and thus was born the first tourism company registered in the Azores and the Azores government license to carry out all-terrain riding. We wanted to focus on innovation and, in recent years, we have diversified our services and we extend to other activities, such as hiking and mountain biking. In 2005 it acquired a vessel, giving birth to the maritime-tourist activity. These tours dominate the fishing coast, the Big Game and simple but appreciated boat trips along the coast.
