Late arrivals will not extend the rental period. 3. **Safety Considerations:**        - The renter is responsible for ensuring that all safety equipment, including life jackets, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits, are present and in good working order before departure.    - The renter must follow all local boating regulations and guidelines. 4. **Boat Rules:**    - No smoking or illegal substances are allowed on the boat.    - Pets are not allowed unless prior approval is granted.    - The boat must be returned in the same condition as it was at the start of the rental period. Any damage or excessive cleaning required will result in additional charges. 5. **Damages and Liability:**    - The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the boat during the rental period. A detailed inspection will be conducted before and after the rental.    - The boat owner is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the rental period.
