We operate captained and crewed sailing charter vessels on Florida’s west coast. Our most famous vessel is the schooner.” Her seven red (tanbark) sails are a true feast for the eyes of sailors and landlubbers alike. We are ranked #1 on TripAdvisor and Yelp! as Things to Do in Treasure Island. Our founder, Captain Richie, holds a 1600 / 3000 ton Master’s license from the United States Coast Guard. He began his sailing career at the age of 4 on the mountain lakes of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. He has sailed on the collegiate level, done extensive coastal cruising, made ocean passages, and has skippered in several high profile regattas. Professionally, he has captained a wide array of vessels from the offshore oil and gas industry to offshore tug boats to high capacity passenger vessels and everything in between.

In addition to the full charter price being charged, the Charterer will also be responsible for any and all taxes, gratuity, and other expenses incurred including but not limited dockage, provisions, etc. We encourage all Charterers to personally visit the vessel prior to booking in order to ensure we will be able to accommodate their needs. We will always work with our clients to make sure their requirements are met, however we can not be held responsible the day of the charter should the Charterer see that the vessel does not meet their needs or accommodations having waived their opportunity to visit and inspect the vessel prior to the charter. THE RULES AND GUIDELINES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: We maintain the right to interview and determine if the potential CHARTERER is qualified to charter the vessel and retains the right to decline a request for charter. The charterer can cancel the charter for a full refund up to 72 hours prior to departure. The cancellation must be received via email, telephone, or online through the link in the confirmation email. In the event it is deemed necessary by the Captain or our company to cancel the charter due to weather, unforeseen mechanical issues, or any other reason, the deposit paid will be fully refunded. NO REFUNDS will be given in the event the charterer does not arrive for the charter at the specified time above, has fewer participants than expected, does not agree with the Captain’s opinion of prevailing weather conditions, or having waived the opportunity to personally inspect the vessel prior to booking. Any provisions or catering that were purchased and ordered for the charter may be picked up up to 24 hours after the scheduled departure time of the charter otherwise those stores will be disposed of at charterers expense. WEATHER REBOOKING: If the CHARTER FEES have been submitted and PAID IN FULL and the weather, determined by the Captain or our company, is unsafe or unsuitable for a viable charter on the day of departure, 100% of the booking fees may be applied to a new, rescheduled date in the future. Departure time may be delayed to accommodate weather conditions up to one hour past the scheduled departure time and will be coordinated with the Charterer and our company.
