Great trip. Jon told me before the trip that the water was high and the fishing slow. He was right the water was high but I still managed to boat some really nice fish. To be honest the scenery was so epic floating El Rio Petrohue that I wouldn't have been disappointed if I hadn't caught a fish. I plan to return and spend more time on the water. The river was not with us (or anyone else) this day. Caught several fish, and hooked a really big one. He got off the hook after he jumped about 3ft out of the water. Saw no one catching any fish that day. So I was more than happy with my experience.
